New nail care from Skin Food! The bottles, while extremely pretty, are slightly small. I like the Pine Nut Cuticle Oil a lot. It’s got a slight sent, but nothing too over-powering, and it soaks in quite well. We’ll see how well the stregnthener works. I’ve got it under my current mani, so I’ll probably mention it again in a few weeks as either a success or a bust.
Mani I did for my weekend trip to Japan. Very cute, but I feel like my nails look short…

Remember the Skin Food chocolate set I bought from a while ago? They’ve put out a new holiday one. The cherry set doesn’t seem to be for gradient, but they’ve got some really nice colours. This is the Winter Snow version, though there is another that came with a red, a purple, and a red glitter as well. I’ll be trying these out tonight for my trip to Japan this weekend, so expect pictures of that soon!
1호 Feminine Pale Pink: A pale pink with a blue shimmer to it. It looks quite thin, so it’ll probably take a few coats to get opaque.
2호 Warm-Toned Snow White: An off-white/nude creme that looks a bit thicker than the 1호.
3호 Snowflake-Shaped Sparkles: A translucent white-gold shimmer with some small flecks. I tried it over my current pedicure (Green Tea by Aritaum) and it’s got a good shimmer to it, though the flecks aren’t extremely noticeble unless they hit the light.
Picked up one of the two new gradient nail sets from Skin Food. This is the “chic” set, where they other one is a set of lighter colours. These sets are part of their fall Chocolate makeup line. I got a lovely eye pallet as well.
1호: The lightest of the shades; comes out an translucent antique beige shimmer with one coat.
2호: Second shade; a muted grey-brown shimmer to put on half way up the nail.
3호: The darkest shade; an almost black-brown shimmer, to put on the tip and the package says to then use it over the full nail to help blend the colours together.
It’s a cute pack, though I don’t know how often I’ll use them together. I really like 2 and 3 on their own, as they’d look lovely stamped over.
